Many women are taught to care for everyone else first, to be strong, to hold it all together. That can leave us bracing, tense, or disconnected from our own needs.
Somatic work offers a way to slow down, get curious about what your body is saying, and gently invite release or new movement. Instead of pushing through, you’re invited to soften, sense, and move in your own time.
It’s a way of coming home to yourself.
I’m Kathleen Thornton, a certified somatic educator and facilitator. I help women cultivate safety and trust within their bodies so they can meet life’s challenges with more presence, ease, and self-compassion.
